Welcome of participants in Palma (2 star hotel near the old town).
The guide will explain the program. Depending on your arrival time, you will have free time to visit Palma. Dinner is on your own, and overnight stay at the hotel in Palma.

Transfer by private minibus to the Miramar property, a few kilometers from Valldemossa in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana.
The trail descends towards the sea through forests and along cliffs, bringing us close to several of the viewpoints once favored by Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria. Today we are in what was once a protected area, chosen by this Habsburg nobleman who, more than a century ago, made these mountains and coasts his home. Spectacular views of the sea unfold before us, and we reach the small port of s'Estaca and its houses, accessible only on foot. The trail disappears a little further on, and we must walk over the rocks, following the coast to the small and photogenic peninsula of Sa Foradada. If the water temperature permits, we take a dip in the sea and then head up to the charming village of Deià. Overnight in a typical small hotel in Deià.
5h30 route (including 1h30 without a trail) - 550 m of positive elevation gain and 750 m of negative elevation gain
-
Among orange and lemon trees, the path leads us towards Cala de Déià and its transparent waters.
From here we follow the coast along a path that offers us beautiful views of the cliffs and forests of this part of the Tramuntana.
If the sea temperature permits, we'll swim in one of the small coves. In the second part of the route, the path climbs higher and disappears in some sections. We're on the cliffs of Sa Falconera and enjoy spectacular views of the coast. At the end of the day, we arrive at the small port of Sóller. Overnight at the hotel.
5h15 route - 400m of positive elevation gain and 600m of negative elevation gain

BETWEEN THE PORT OF SÓLLER AND THE TOSSALS VERDS REFUGE
We left the port on the tram (from 1929!) which took us to the town of Sóller.
We climb through fields of orange and lemon trees to the small village of Biniaraix, where the cobbled path of the Barranc begins. We gain altitude, and the trail winds through thousands of terraces and olive groves until we reach the Ofre Valley.
From here we ascend to the summit of the same name. We are at 1091 meters above sea level, and the view is one of the most beautiful in the entire Tramuntana mountain range. The trail descends towards the Cúber reservoir before entering what will be our second canyon of the day. To explore it, we will pass through the tunnels that were built 50 years ago to carry water from the Cúber reservoir to the plains of Mallorca.
At the end of our magnificent hike, we arrived at the Tossals Verds mountain refuge. We spent the night there. We won't have access to our luggage tonight, so please pack a small toiletry bag and some change of clothes in your backpack. Dinner and breakfast at the refuge, hot showers, towels, and linens are included in the price.
6h30 route - 1100 m of positive elevation gain and 800 m of negative elevation gain

FROM THE REFUGE TO THE MONASTERY WITH THE ASCENT OF THE MASSANELLA PEAK
We left the refuge along an old cobbled path and, already among the largest mountains of the Balearic Islands, we crossed oak forests and forgotten valleys to the Prat pass.
From here, a steep path leads to the summit of Massanella, which, at 1364 meters, is the second highest peak in the Balearic Islands. The view encompasses almost the entire island: the plains, the east coast, the large northern bays, the neighboring island of Menorca, and nearly all the peaks of the Tramuntana mountain range.
We descended towards Lluc Monastery along a scenic path that offered new views over the valley where the monastery is located, and also over the Torrent de Pareis, the fabulous canyon we would explore tomorrow. First night at Lluc Monastery.
6h30 route - 1000 m of positive elevation gain and 1050 m of negative elevation gain.

Torrent de Pareis.
This descent of the largest canyon in the Balearic Islands – and the second largest in the Mediterranean – is one of the most spectacular routes on the island.
The last three hours of the hike are on the rocky canyon floor, where there is no trail. Sections requiring the use of hands are followed by easier stretches across boulder fields. One of the highlights will be entering the final section of the Sa Fosca canyon, much narrower than the Pareis canyon.
At the end of its course, the Torrent de Pareis flows into the sea, forming a cove with uniquely blue waters.
The route is only accessible when dry. After a period of rain, the canyon floor floods and it becomes closed to hikers. If this is the case, we will take another beautiful route in the northern part of the Tramuntana mountains. Second night at Lluc Monastery. Dinner at a mountain restaurant located within the monastery.
5h of walking - 600m of negative elevation gain
-
From Lluc we crossed an area of spectacular rocks eroded by the rain and began the ascent to Puig Tomir, the last peak of more than 1000 meters in the Serra de Tramuntana towards its northern part.
The varied route crosses a vast limestone pavement covered with holm oaks before passing through the scree slopes that guard the summit. At 1100 m altitude, on its peak, a magnificent view unfolds over the north of the island and its famous Cap Formentor.
We head down towards Pollença, where the bus picks us up to take us back to Palma, where we will arrive around 5pm.
*Dispersal in Palma or at the airport or port.
6-hour hike - 750 m of positive elevation gain and 900 m of negative elevation gain
