Brittany is a French region with character, where a stunning coastline and the harshness of the Atlantic have shaped the lives and culture of its inhabitants. Following the rhythm of the ocean tides, this seafaring community will surprise us with its rich folklore and way of life: always between the land and the powerful sea. In southern Brittany, Belle-île-en-Mer, the largest of the Ponant islands, will enchant us with its landscapes. Between the rugged cliffs and rocky spires and the gentleness of its golden sandy beaches, Belle-île never ceases to captivate hikers. Our hotel, located in the small port of Le Palais, the island's charming and typical capital, will allow us to immerse ourselves in local life and atmosphere.

  • Flight to Nantes

    Flights departing from various cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Palma, Seville, Lanzarote, etc. For flights from other cities, please inquire. Airport reception by the guide and short transfer to the hotel in Nantes. Overnight in Nantes.

  • Locmaria – Le Palais

    In the morning, we transferred to Quiberon (2 hours 15 minutes) and from there took the ferry to Belle Île (45 minutes). We left our luggage at our hotel in the charming little capital of the island – Le Palais – and took a short transfer to the starting point of today's excursion. From Locmaria, the easternmost village on the island, we walked along the coast towards Pointe de Kerdonis and Grands Sables beach, located opposite Quiberon Bay. We continued on to Port Yoc'h and Bordardoué before arriving at our accommodation in Le Palais.

    Distance: 17 km.

  • Donant - Sauzon

    We left Donnant Cove, a renowned surfing spot and very popular with locals, and followed the magnificent, wild west coast, where the Atlantic waves crash relentlessly, towards the legendary Apothicairerie cave. Finally, we arrived at Pointe des Poulains, a spectacular location made famous by photographs of its lighthouse battered by the waves. Overnight at Le Palais.

  • Locmaria - Calastren

    Transfer to Locmaria, home to the oldest church on the island, for a beautiful walk along the south coast.

    In this part of Belle île, the cliffs rise more than 50 meters from the ocean, and the points of Skeul, Pouldon, and St-Marc shelter charming little coves. Overnight at Le Palais.

  • Donant - Calastren

    From Donnant, we head towards the famous Port Coton spires directly ahead. We continue towards the rugged headlands of Talut and Grand Village before reaching Herlin beach and then Calastren. Overnight at Le Palais.

  • Sauzon – Le Palais

    Hiking on the northwest coast of the island, starting from the beautiful village of Sauzon, we reach Le Palais via Port Jean and Pointe de Taillefer. Last night in Le Palais

  • Belle île - Nantes

    Free time in Le Palais (short walk, shopping, beach, etc.). In the early afternoon, we depart by ferry to Quiberon and then by transfer to Nantes. Dinner on your own and overnight stay at the hotel in Nantes.

  • Nantes - Spain

    Transfer to the airport and flight to Spain. Depending on the flight schedule, free time to visit this vibrant city.
