After a transfer along a mountain track, we begin this hike that takes us to the two highest peaks in the region—Punta sos Nidos and Monte Corrasi—and reveals magnificent views of the immense limestone massif of the Oliena mountain range. It's like being in the Dolomites... The trail crosses a beautiful holm oak forest before leading us to the highlands and summits. Second night in Oliena

GOLA SU GORROPU, THE LARGEST CANYON IN SARDINIA.
After a transfer through the magnificent landscape of olive groves and vineyards of the Supramonte, we arrive at the valley where the Gola Su Gorropu flows into the sea. A shaded walk along the river leads us to the gorge. Here, depending on individual preferences and abilities, we can choose a route through the gorge. The trail becomes increasingly challenging, but everyone can decide where to stop and wait for the group to return. It's a spectacular walk along the canyon's cliffs, which rise several hundred meters high.
Between 4h and 5h30 of walking depending on the route in the gorges - between 200m and 450m of ascent and descent.

J 5 - Second stage: from Porto Pedrosu to Cala Goloritze.
J 6 - Third stage: from Cala Goloritze to Cala Mariolu.
This legendary route (its full version is considered the most challenging of all Italian trails) was created by following the ancient paths of Sardinian shepherds and seeking out the most beautiful and spectacular parts of the Supramonte coast, north of Santa Maria Navarrese. Indeed, the views of the sea—often hundreds of meters below—and the dizzying cliffs and rocky peaks are magnificent and breathtaking. Several variations of the route are possible: from hiking to climbing and rope climbing. We'll be hiking, without climbing, but sometimes we'll have to walk on narrow rocks (not being afraid of heights is a prerequisite for this trip). This part of the Sardinian coast has remained very wild, so we'll be spending both nights bivouacking, either under the open sky or in a tent (your choice). The bivouac sites are located right on the seafront, in beautiful, unspoiled, and uninhabited coves (swimming is possible). During the three-day crossing, we were resupplied by Zodiac boats that brought food, tents, travel bags... we carried only our daily essentials (a 35L backpack, a Sufi capacity). At the end of this magnificent crossing, a Zodiac took us back to Santa Maria in an unforgettable one-hour boat ride.
Nights of the 4th and 5th spent bivouacking. Night of the 6th at the hotel in Santa Maria Navarrese.
Maximum of 7 hours of walking per day and 900m of elevation gain.
-

6 hours of walking - 650 m ascent and descent.
