Europe, Montenegro, a country full of surprises
Even in a small country, all kinds of contrasts can fit. Montenegro, with its mountains reminiscent of the Dolomites, its immense forests that are home to wolves and bears, and its mountainous coastline marked by some of the most spectacular fjords in the Mediterranean, is a diverse country that offers stunning natural beauty and a rich, well-preserved culture.
Our tour will allow us to discover Durmitor National Park, Biogradska National Park, and Lovcen National Park (located on the coast). We will also have the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor in Montenegro, two magnificent cities that deserve some time.

Today we leave the interior of the country and head towards the Adriatic, to Lovćen National Park, which protects the famous Fjord of Kotor. At the top of Lovćen stands the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovi Njegos, Prince-Bishop and great ruler of the 19th century. From the summit, the panorama is magnificent, encompassing the entire Bay of Kotor. During the descent on foot to the walls of Kotor and the historic city center by the sea, spectacular views unfold.
The scenery of this fjord, surrounded by steep mountains and reflected in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic, is breathtaking and one of the highlights of our trip. We reached the small town of Kotor on foot, climbing along the top of its walls, and discovered some of the historical monuments as we strolled along its cobbled streets towards our hotel. We settled in for two nights at a hotel on the edge of the Bay of Kotor (Kotor, Dobrota, or Prcanj).
